1What is ShopnShip?
ShopnShip was created by Jamaica Freight and Shipping as its newest division. Jamaica Freight & Shipping is a member of the Jamaica Fruit & Shipping Group which has almost 100 years’ experience in shipping cargo and global trade. ShopnShip makes Jamaica Freight and Shipping’s wealth of experience and expertise now available to the online shopper. Our purpose is to give the Caribbean consumer global access to the newest trends in fashion, technology, and anything automotive.

2Does ShopnShip charge a registration fee?
NO ShopnShip does not charge a registration free, you simply sign up for FREE through our website and start shopping.

3Other companies charge an annual membership fee – what about ShopnShip?

In addition to no registration fee with ShopnShip, there is also NO Annual Membership Fee! ShopnShip does not believe in charging you to have a U.S. or U.K. mailing address

4How do I become a member of ShopnShip?

Simply click on the Sign Up page and fill in all the requested information. You will receive a Welcome Letter at the email address that you provide on the Sign Up page. The Welcome Letter will include your unique SNS # and your Miami and London addresses. (Please keep this information somewhere safe as you will need it when you are making your purchases.) Remember to click on the ‘Activate my Account’ link in the welcome letter to become a member of the ShopNShip family!

5Why do I need to provide my Taxpayer Registration Number (TRN) when I am registering?

Jamaica Customs requires a TRN # when cargo is being cleared by our agent.

6How do I complete the ‘SHIP TO’ section when I am making my online purchase?
With ShopnShip you receive two (2) shipping addresses which allow you the option to shop in the United States or in Europe:
If shopping at an online store in UNITED STATES you will complete the SHIP TO section as follows:

7What if I don’t have a credit card?

ShopnShip will purchase your items on your behalf if you don’t have a credit card. Simply complete our Purchase Request form found on our website, submit to us and we will send you a quotation via email within 24 hours. Once you have paid us via secure online payment, direct bank deposit or visited our offices and remitted payment we will purchase item within 24 hours.

8Will ShopnShip make a purchase for me if a paypal account is required?

ShopnShip will be more than happy to assist you with this purchase as well. Simply complete the Purchase Request form found on our website, submit to us and we will send you a quotation via email within 24 hours. Once you have paid us via paymaster, direct bank deposit or visited our offices and remitted payment we will purchase item within 24 hours.

9Can I get my total charges before shipment?

Use our shipping calculator to get the best estimate for your shipment. Please note that the accuracy of the data you provide will be the accuracy of the calculator. Because shipping costs are calculated on actual weight, we can only confirm the estimate upon your item’s arrival to our respective warehouse. Our calculator does include an estimate of local charges when available in our drop down list for the item category. Landed charges can only be confirmed once your items have been inspected by Jamaica Customs.

10Will the total charges include custom duties?

Jamaica Custom Duties can only be estimated. Actual cost will be provided once Jamaica Customs has examined the shipment.

11Will ShopnShip deliver to my door?

ShopnShip offers free delivery in Kingston and Portmore. If you are located outside of the corporate area, we can deliver to you at a minimal cost. Contact us to get the rate to your area.

12What are ShopnShip opening hours?

The ShopnShip office opening hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 4:30pm (excluding public holidays); however, you can access and use the ShopnShip website 24 hours daily.

13Where is ShopnShip Located?

ShopnShip is located at 80-82 Second Street, Newport West, Kingston 13.

14Can I use ShopnShip without registering?

No - you must register with the site to receive your unique SNS # before shopping.

15How will I know when my package has arrived in Jamaica?

You will receive an email advising you that your shipment has arrived in Jamaica and is pending customs clearance. You will receive a follow up email notification once shipment is ready to be collected from our office. Please advise via reply email if you will pick up or you would like your shipment to be delivered to your door in Jamaica , and indicate delivery address.
